At Big Trees MD, unlimited virtual care means you can text, call, email or video chat with
us as much as you need to. If you need after-hours care, members are asked to call only if it cannot wait until the next business day. The need for in-home care will be determined based on medical need; the review of lab results, for example, does not typically require an in home visit.
For the expecting Mama, the cost of care/month is equivalent to the corresponding age-based Individual Plan. Dr. Concepcion will transfer lead care to the OB at 28 weeks but will still be able to see Mama at home and assist with collecting specimens as needed by the OB beyond the 28 weeks. Dr. Concepcion's point of care ultrasound does not substitute for formal ultrasounds including those done for dating, anatomy, etc.
For children, Big Trees MD promotes staying on the recommended schedule of vaccines but
she will work with parents and guardians who are vaccine-hesitant
to come up with plans they are comfortable with..
**Big Trees MD does not guarantee vaccine availability for childhood vaccines. This is greatly impacted by what insurance a child has.

For in-home visits within 15 miles, in-home visit fee is $150; within 25 miles, in-home visit fee is $175 for members In-home visits for non-members available upon request and availability.
Cash pay price for an urgent care visit locally is around $250 minimum.
In-home visits will not be possible if inclement weather or unavoidable safety concerns exist.
